Park Facts

Dunleith Park District was organized in 1970.  The park and pool were completed in 1975 as part of a Federal Conservation Grant administered by the State of Illinois Department of Conservation.  These facilities are maintained on a continuing basis through local tax dollars.  Dunleith Park District offers equal opportunities to all in regard to both recreation and employment.  The Dunleith Park District Board of Commissioners will prosecute to the fullest extent possible under Illinois Statutes anyone who willfully causes the destruction of park property by acts of vandalism or other means.  NOTE:  The Illinois Statutes allow for parental prosecution if acts of vandalism are committed by a minor.

What can you do to prevent vandalism in your park???
